herbalwharf9261
hurghanico
The POD must be connected to USB 2.0, not to USB 3.0. It must also be connected to the main USB ports, not to port extensions such as USB HUB. Often the main and best USB ports are those closest to the power cable socket. I have 2 perfectly working PODs and both indicate USB FW:V0.00 on their display while they are disconnected, since they are connected and recognized by the OS they instead indicate USB FW:V1.04. If your POD remains at USB FW:V0.00 after connecting to the computer it means that it is not recognized by the OS, which can be due to one of 3 problems: 1) the driver on the computer is not installed correctly. In this case completely uninstall the driver and install again, avoiding that the computer security system blocks the complete installation of the driver. 2) the port used on the PC to connect to the POD is not suitable such as a USB 3.0 or it is a USB HUB. 3) the USB port of the POD and perhaps also its USB Controller chip are damaged not allowing any connection. I recommend trying to connect the POD to another computer even without installing anything on it. If at the time of connection there is no reaction at all from the computer (which normally should at least detect the presence of unknown hardware connected) it means that the USB port of the POD is dead, and the only solution would be to replace it. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
