dcleveland
I am at a loss and am now seeking advice. I have a Spider 120 with two 10" speakers. One speaker has a black/red wire combo the other a black/white color combo. When the white/black are plugged into their speaker the amp makes no unusual sounds. If I plug in the black/red wires on their speaker, it will pop, crackle, and make all kinds of noise. If I leave that black wire on and remove just the red, the noise goes away. Touch the red wire to it's post again and the noise comes back. If I swap the wire sets from one speaker to the other, the OTHER speaker makes the noise. So logic says it's the red/black wire combo that's the problem. However, I inspected the wires harness and did a continuity check on all the wires. All four were at 0.2ohms. The board they plug into is BRAND NEW, I just got it from Full Compass. Actually, I've replaced all the boards except the one for all the connections on the back (LAN, etc) I don't understand! Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?
