MIFKAP Posted December 10, 2025 Share Posted December 10, 2025 Has anyone had success using HD500 Edit on a Mac Studio 2024 running Tahoe? I have been able to see it on Line6 Central, it interfaces fine with Logic 11, and I can consistently connect it to any of the USB ports on my Mac Studio. HD500 Edit will occasionally connect to my POD HD500, but is unreliable and while able to upload my presets, etc, I cannot adjust anything via HD500 Edit and see the changes reflected on the POD HD500. Also wondering of it will work with HD500X Edit? The unit works fine and I’m sure there are a lot of people who bought both it and a DT amp who would like to be able to have the editing capability. trueNorth55 Posted December 31, 2025 Share Posted December 31, 2025 I have this problem from time to time also. Sometimes I have to restart the Mac to get it working again. It's been like this since macOS 15 (Sequoia) and doubt that we'll be getting a newer version of Edit or an update to address the use of legacy system extensions. I've slowly been ditching my legacy Line 6 gear as it becomes obsolete and my POD HD Pro X is the next one on the list unfortunately. Best of luck!
