TCStuckey3
Can stadium/showcase be used to play stored samples on demand by foot switch? I would like to load wav files of sounds that I can trigger to play with a foot switch. Not a whole song mapped out with automated markers and such. Just want to be able to trigger a sound to play at will. Thanks!
silverhead
Yes, you can. Set up a Song that contains a single wave file, and then use Command Center to trigger playing the wav file. From the manual: Tip: You can also use the Command Center > Song commands to assign individual transport functions to Stomp A and B footswitches and Instant commands. mkopec
I must be doing something incorrectly. I have a backing track I want installed onto stadium to play along with. I converted and dragged the WAV file to the New Song area. From here I want to play it and use one of my presets to play along with it. I would think I could use the command center to launch the song using an available switch. In Librarian view I see the backing track but it won't launch or play. Any tips? silverhead
Have you transferred the wav file to the Stadium device so that it is installed as a Song? The New Song window in the app is a collection area for the wav files that will comprise the Showcase Song. There are limited operations that can be performed on the files there as discussed in the manual. But until the files are transferred to the device it is not yet a Song in Showcase and the associated operations (like assigning a FS to trigger Play) are not available.
