Command Center – Unable to Remove Stomp Assignments in One Preset

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a strange issue with my Stadium and hope someone can help.

Problem:

In one specific preset, I’m unable to delete Stomp assignments in the Command Center. The option is greyed out and cannot be selected. In all other presets, everything works as expected.

Background / What I did:

  1. I use the expression pedal as a volume pedal.

  2. For this, I enabled “Auto-Assign Blocks to Stomps.”

  3. After placing all required blocks in the signal path, I switched this option back to manual (my preferred workflow).

  4. Now I want to free up the stomps to assign Snapshots instead.

The issue:

  • I can’t remove individual stomp assignments

  • The option is greyed out

  • Even choosing “Clear All Assignments” does nothing

  • In other presets, I can assign and remove blocks normally

I’ve attached a video demonstrating the behavior.

Questions:

  • Has anyone encountered this before?

  • Could this be a bug or am I missing a setting?

  • Is there a way to fix this preset without rebuilding it from scratch?

I haven’t opened a support ticket yet – wanted to ask here first.

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

  • 2 weeks later...

I've made use of Command Center extensively with my old Helix Floor, but have encountered numerous issues with Command Center in Helix Stadium and Helix Stadium app (v.1.2.1 and below).

First: Occasionally, in one of my custom patches, an unused footswitch will get assigned a label and color to a block that doesn't exist in the patch.  The switch is perpetually stuck in the On state and won't switch off when pressed.  Going into Command Center on the unit, I can't clear or change the assignment.  At best, I can remove the color and change the label to a blank space to make it appear as the switch is unassigned.

Second: In the Helix Stadium app, the app shows fewer switch assignments than on the unit itself.  In one case that I'm looking at now, seven of the switches have assignments to blocks in my patch (along with one of those "phantom" assignments mentioned above), but the app only shows one swicth as having an assignment.  All other switches appear (in the app only) as unassigned.

Changing to another patch and changing back, closing and reopening the app, or rebooting the Stadium do nothing to resolve the issue.  Rebuilding the patch from scratch seems to be the only option.
