bbehrens
You must update the Helix Stadium App FIRST. Just fire it ip and it will let you know that you need to update it. Then update the Stadium Firmware from inside the App. THIS time you HAVE TO update via USB. I read everything that it was telling me first and it worked just fine for me. Hopefully others will find this helpful.
ottoman
First- download the APP from the website for your OS and update that way, I could never update the app within the app itself. Once that is taken care of hook up the unit via USB to your computer, and make sure to select the USB connection to the APP, then and follow the instructions but also see below. I went through this multiple times to finally to get it working for the firmware to download. I will skip all the stuff and I was on a Mac. First I canceled the download prompt on the unit and make sure no other major programs, apps are running on your computer, do not touch any other screen, app, etc while downloading, and nothing else is connected to the same bus on the USB-C ports. (for example I disconnected my UA interface which also use a USB-C port next to it). Also you use a good usb cable. (It failed on me multiple times on each attempt, until all these mentioned steps are taken care of). Hope this helps and works out for you. Not sure if this was intended or an oversight as the app guides you to update and the firmware within the app itself. (it never worked for me that way). Hopefully future updates will be less painful. For future referece, I will always check the website first and not trust the app to update.
