bdinardo
I have a MacBook Pro with M3 chip, and the latest version of GarageBand. I downloaded the Helix Native free trial, but when I try to open it on GarageBand, I get nothing. None of the effects show up. Anyone know what is wrong and how to fix? I have two Line 6 amps, so I'm eager to see if Helix produces many of the same sounds of the amps.

Hi, Did you read this? or, my older post here:- Oh, yeah - you say that you have 2 Line 6 amps and you want to see how Helix compares? Well, that rather depends on the amps you have, because if they were made prior to Helix back in 2015, there is no real comparison - Helix is a totally different beast. Helix Native is the software engine that is installed in all the hardware devices - no difference in sound. It might be a good idea to read this:- https://blog.line6.com/2023/09/15/eric-klein-at-least-half-of-your-modelers-sound-is-determined-by-your-playback-system/?utm_source=Marketo&utm_medium=BlogEmail&utm_campaign=Blog-eric-klein&mkt_tok=MTI2LUxCTi00MjgAAAGOXNKXPB4LdRY55UgYIAVuxsl-nlJPwVbWjj0PebBQLFlVJJGSye5Oo6kZoafJtn3nrVNr-AoprHPHov8CrMV_asruKHv6yaZ2LRiCG3ibqFX7Uw Hope this helps/makes sense.
