cmoore75 Posted March 30 Share Posted March 30 I recently got a used HX Effects unit and I’m trying to figure out if it is working properly. The manual says that pushing in the big button when in stomp mode should take you to the model list for the selected foot switch. When I push it in it takes me to a the list within the current category (distortion for example) not to the higher level where the categories are. Is this how it is supposed to work or should it go to the highest level in the menu? I can get to the top level by using the arrow keys. I can occasionally get the scribble strip to show up the icon about pushing the big button and then it does go to the top level but I cannot figure out how to do this consistently. cmoore75 Posted March 31 Author Share Posted March 31 After playing around with it a little more, I figured out that turning the big knob while it is pushed in, goes through the subcategories (mono, stereo, legacy) and if I go all the way to the beginning, I get the icon to push the big button to go to the model list at the top level. I’d still appreciate if someone can confirm this is how it is supposed to work. Also, this happens when trying to modify a block on an existing preset, not on a blank preset.
