tele_jas Posted April 10 Share Posted April 10 Can I use an external footswitch on the Stadium (non XL) to control an FX block? If so, what are the compatible models? I have a: BOSS FS-5L (latching) NUX NMP-2 Dual Footswitch I've tried both, with standard TS cables and TRS cables, with no luck. I'm wanting to assign an FX block (volume block) to the external pedal to use as a volume/solo boost. I'd rather it be external since I'll be hitting it multiple times each song. Throughout a 4hr show, that could be up to 300 times for leads and fills. I don't want to wear out a Stadium footswitch, I'd rather wear out a $50 footswitch instead ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
silverhead Posted April 10 Share Posted April 10 I haven’t done this myself but the manual says you can. See Global Settings -> Switches/Pedals, particularly the Control A/B settings. You will need a TRS cable with a Y-splitter to control up to two external pedals/footswitches.
