I want a clean ish tone for soap shot 1 and have the drive off, then drives are on for all others. When I save from snapshot 1 with the drive of it turns them all off in every snapshot except 4. Then I save from individual SS's 2 and 3 withe drives on and they go back on in SS 1. Line 6 support said only save from SS 1 - but that shut 2-3 SS's off.

Help!!!

Are you sure that you don’t have the Bypass Snapshot setting activated for that block? Have you assigned all desired parameters to the Snapshot controller? Also check the Discard Edits setting for the preset in the Snapshot panel.

No I am not can you describe what that looks like so I will know? I will say after numerous times of going through them and making sure I had the OD on for 2-4 and off for 1 it finally stayed that way.

Can you confirm you have to save from SS 1 ?

I suggest that it’s time for you to read the Snapshots section in the manual. It’s all explained there in a fashion that’s much more concise, detailed, and accurate than I could do.

Read the manual on SS section. The only thing that was new was that new was that there could be multiple effects assigned to one button -How do i know if that's the case???

As far as I can see my snap shots are 1/1 assigned to the buttons lit up on screen while in SS mode.
