guighfunky
Let me first say I already sent a ticket to Line6 and they responded I'm not covered by warranty since I'm outside of the USA. I purchased it in the US but I live in Brazil. Worst case scenario I'll have to travel there with the unit apparently. Here's what happened: My Stadium XL sometimes needed restarting. It would stop responding after a long period turned on. Like a computer sometimes needing a reboot, I was used to it already. But in one of these reboots it stopped working altogether. I wasn't updating it or anything, just rebooting. First it gets stuck at the X logo forever. If I tap the screen, it takes me to the wifi selection screen as if I'm turning it on for the first time. After (apparently) connecting, the "next" button is greyed out. My only option is to skip it. Then it goes to the home screen, but it's empty and the submenus are corrupted (see the picture). I restarted it in recovery mode, removed the micro SD card, restored factory defaults, but it's still corrupted. Current firmware is 1.3.1 build 1333. I tried updating the firmware with both Helix Stadium and Line 6 Central apps. They transfer the firmware and even say "transfer succeded", but nothing happens at the unit. I saw other people having this same issue but no one had a definitive solution.
bverdon
So... where did you purchase it from? Just odd that since you bought of of country this is not covered under warranty.
guighfunky
I bought it in a Guitar Center in San Francisco. I live in Brazil and got the Stadium when I traveled to the USA. Electronics are crazy expensive in Brazil. So I take the risk of getting a product without warranty when I bring stuff from the USA. But I've never had an electronic blantantly become a brick like this one. This never happened before. It's ridiculous that a product this expensive doesn't have a proper recovery mode.
