But in many gigging situations in bars, either the unit won't power up at all, or in the middle of playing it will cut out. I'm assuming this is due to the often terrible condition of AC in many bars, with way too many plugs going into too few outlets. Has anyone had this problem and if so, is there a workaround? Do Helix products have this issue as well, or just the Pod products? What's disconcerting is that everyone else's amps seem to work just fine in the same AC outlets at the bars where this has been a problem. napynap Posted August 31 Share Posted August 31 I just experienced a similar issue on stage today in CA, USA. The Pod Go would not power up and I have two original Line6 power adapters designed for it. The problem in my case is the venue's voltage was 106v, and should be closer to 120v. These digital devices are very dependent on the voltage being good. The way I found out is that I always carry a voltage regulator (Furman 1800AR) since I also do the PA at gigs. A device like this is a bit heavy and probably overkill for the average musician, but always fixes these kinds of troubles. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
