Anyone else having issues with the deluxe looper?

So... I love the Helix Stadium. Great product. Thing is that the looper is not usable for me. I use the deluxe looper and after I hit play, it plays a couple of times through, maybe 2 or 3 passes and just stops. Other times it erases the loop while I pause it so I end up missing a whole part. I hope theres a fix for this. I would love to see line 6 make the deluxe looper like the boomerang 3, where you can loop chorus, verse, bridge etc... Also an effect like the EH Freeze or Gamechanger audio Sustain would be awesome. Maybe I'm asking too much, but this thing has a lot of potential.

I’ve found that the built-in loopers are great for practicing solos and for hands-free tone shaping. However they are not practical for me in a live situation. Too much tap dancing and chance of errors in the footwork, which I suspect is leading to your issues with it. If live looping is important to you I suggest you get an external, more powerful, and easier to ‘play’ dedicated looper pedal.

 

There’s little chance, imho, that Line 6 will put much development effort into improving the looper for live play. They will probably offer improvements at some point in the Helix Stadium platform taking advantage of Showcase features. For instance I expect to see the ability to save loops in some manner and integrate them into Showcase Song track(s) at some point.

Thanks! I was just wondering if this was a bug. It was working fine a while back, but it recently started doing this thing where it would just cut off the recording and/or erase it after I've stopped it. I use it for teaching via zoom... not really like performance, more of doing examples. I use the Boomerang 3 live.

The recording time is adjustable using the half/full speed and mono/stereo settings. A change there could be responsible for the cutoff. Also, holding down a switch for too long can erase the recording.
