Using POD HD500X and keep getting BSOD

Hi, i'm using my pod hd500x with my computer and recording with Reaper ,i'm on WIN 8.1 with all the recent updates.

Whenever i use the pod and record i get blue screens on my pc,i know it's the pod because if i power it off the blue screens stop.

The blue screen appers randomly;sometime after 10 minutes and sometime after hours.

The blue screens mostly say:  "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" and if i view it with blue screen viewer it addresses this as "ntoskrnl.exe"

I've already updated the pc soundcard to the last drivers, and reinstalled the pod drivers and it didn't help.

is there a solution for this?

Don't know if this thread will help, but it might be worth looking it. It suggests that this could be either a driver or a memory problem:

I found another page on the official Microsoft site that suggests it could be virus related:

I'd first lean toward the driver issue. Maybe remove and re-install the POD drivers on your system to start with. It should run fine in Win 8.1. Mine works fine in Win 8.1 x64 with all current updates.
