billlorentzen
I have a beef with the Analog Chorus, that it adds a 3-4 dB boost, which messes up my carefully set volume levels. I've tried to get a nice, similar sound out of the trichorus, but it just sounds wonky to me. Anyone got some nice settings for it? I wish they would have modeled the tc analog chorus! That is the best sounding chorus pedal ever.
BlueViolince
Alternatively, you could add a volume pedal with appropriate cut, bound to the same footswitch.
billlorentzen
anyway it seems to me that the chorus placed instead before the amp (in the old fashioned way, and not as a modern rack fx in the FX loop) doesn't give the same problem.. The vol pedal or EQ won't work for me, as I'm maxed out on processing and using the pedal already, but putting it before the amp might do it. I'll check that out. Why didn't I think of that? duncann
Keep in mind that placing it before the amp will sound different than placing it after, relating to stereo separation, meaning before the amp, it will have no stereo effect.
