kenneth0923
I have the 500X. I don't plan on using any of the stereo features any time soon. I always put a mono summing device first in my chain (noise gate) and I have every mix set to center and set both mix levels exactly the same.So if I use both XLR outputs and send one to the board and the other to small monitor speaker in front of me they should get the same exact signal, correct?I jus want to hear myself a little bit louder than what the rest of the band is hearing in their monitors. phil_m
The only way they wouldn't be exactly the same is if you happened to have a stereo panning effect in your chain before the mixer block. The pan control for each tone isn't really like a pan control on a channel strip on a mix. It's really like a balance control that controls the left and right mix.
