Clayton's_Precision | Adam Clayton | Where The Streets Have No Name | U2 | Alchemist | Rock | 137 |
|
| briton | I use this patch when we play it live using my P-Bass. Sounds good with both pick and fingers and you can also use a bit of Facial Fuzz if that tickles your fancy. | 3/26/10 | |||||||

Hungry Bass | Cliff Williams | Love Hungry Man | ACDC | Rock Classic | Rock | 114 |
|
| briton | I use my P-Bass for this track though Cliff's original recording on Highway to Hell he used a Jazz Bass. For his studio recording he used Ampeg SVT heads 8x10 and a Eden cabinet 4X10 which I have included in this patch. Now all that is left is for you to adjust your bass settings to suit. | 3/26/10 | |||||||

It's My Life | Paul Webb | It's My Life | Talk Talk | Bypass | Alternative | 129 |
|
| briton | Taken from a Musicman Stingray,I use this tone with my P-Bass and it is damn near perfect to the original recording.I set the tone knob on my P-Bass at 34 of the way up.This is a nice tone and the track itself has a great groove to play along to. | 3/26/10 | |||||||

Powerage Bass | Cliff Williams | Sin City | ACDC | Adam and Eve | Rock | 147 |
|
| briton | I use my P Bass for this one and I set the Digital Delay at 481ms but you can set it anywhere between 470ms485ms which gives the Bass solo in the track a slight delay. You can turn it on by the foot pedal just before the solo but I just leave it on for the entirety of the song. | 3/26/10 | |||||||

Dynasty Fuzz | Gene Simmons | Sure Know Something | Kiss | Silverface Bass | Rock | 209 |
|
| briton | Although not the greatest Bass Guitarist in the world, now and again this man does produce some toe tapping bass lines. And this is one of them from the Album Dynasty.I used a P Bass for this tone so you may have to adjust the Octave Fuzz slightly if you are not using a Precision. | 3/26/10 | |||||||
Model Packs increase the number of Amp or FX Models of a GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt, PODxt Live or PODxt Pro, for a wider variety of tone possibilities. When a particular tone in the library relies on a Model available in one of these packs, you'll see symbol(s) to indicate which Packs: MS (Metal Shop), CC (Classics Collection), FX (FX Junkie), and PP (Power Pack).
The models within the FX Junkie Model Pack are already included in PODxt Live, and offered for purchase to add-on to GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt and PODxt Pro.
Variax is the uniquely flexibile guitar from Line 6. Our Vetta II amplifier includes a digital connection for the Variax that lets you store settings for both your amp and your guitar in the Vetta II so that when you call up a Vetta Channel Memory your amp and guitar can change sounds together. Vetta II Tones marked with this guitar symbol include this Variax data.
For each tone in the library, you'll see an icon for either a single coil or humbucker pickup. This tells you whether the tone is best for use with a single coil pickup or a humbucker, so you can select the appropriate pickup on your guitar when using this tone.
Attention POD 2.0, Flextone and HD147 owners... Your hardware doesn't do Stomp effects, so you'll hear something different than what was intended. Try increasing the Drive or choose a higher gain Amp Model to get the right sound. The other aspects of the sound should translate as expected, so you'll at least get a great starting place for tweaking.
