My experience with Tube amps is very limited.I have been enjoying my PODs most of the time.I have used my Spider Valve 112 only a few times for an overall 20 hours probably.Right from the time I remember ,some of the distorted tones feel wobbly ,fizzy,flabby,flappy & lacking sustain.Some tones have great sustain but some of them sound highly compressed too.I have attached a short recording of an A Major power chord played through an Ibanez roadster with Dimarzio humbuckers (Ignore the noise in-between while I got the recorder ready).
