Helix Stadium XL Floor and Helix Stadium Floor amp and effects processors will launch with 22 brand new Agoura amp models—including 16 new guitar amp models and 6 new bass amp models. It also expands the ways in which Helix Stadium processors may be used with audio interfaces, digital mixers, multi-connector breakout boxes, and other devices via 8-channel optical out.

Starting with Hype set to Off you can experience Hype at mid (50%) and high (100%) in this demo. Focus View is a dedicated, real-time touch screen function that offers greatly simplified editing options for the selected model. Here’s a taste of how you’ll work with Agoura amp sounds and enjoy tons of versatility when building a tone in Helix Stadium. This web-based experience is an extremely simplified version of the actual user interface, showcasing just five out of thousands of nuanced settings, but we hope you’ll get the idea of what it can do.

Step #2: Hype it up

Hype enables you to morph between ultra-authentic and idealized sounds using a single control. On Helix Stadium there are ten different variants of Hype for each amp model. This web simulation approximates that by presenting you with three of those options.

Click on the far left, center and far right to change Hype.

Step #2: Bring it into focus (View)

Focus View provides contextual parameter control, centered on descriptive and easy-to-grasp terms, that you can morph in real time just by sliding your finger over the screen.

Depending where your finger lands you’ll end up with any one of several thousand subtle variants. For this web-based simulation you can audition five of them.

Helix Stadium is best experienced hands-on. Because what makes Helix Stadium exceptional is not only the extraordinary sound of Agoura amplifier models, it’s how they respond to your playing—something you can only experience firsthand. Agoura modeling establishes a new benchmark for authentic sound when modeling physical amplifiers—from tube and transformer behavior to dynamic interaction with speakers and cabs—while also greatly increasing the accuracy of how amps respond to your playing.

Inter-block communication

Output transformers interact with speakers and the cabinet in which they are installed. Agoura modeling measures cabinet impedance to accurately voice power amps for specific amp and cab combinations.

Interstage impedance

Agoura modeling measures the output impedance of every gain stage in the circuit. Precisely calculating the impedance between gain stages results in more accurate tonal characteristics and enhanced playing feel.

Double-precision tone stacks provide a more precise way to calculate the frequency response in complex circuits such as guitar amplifier tone stacks, contributing to more realistic responsiveness and feel.

Improved sag and ripple emulation
