Wowing people when switching from a Telecaster model to an acoustic model with the press of a button on the FBV....

Surfing, Creating Amp and Guitar Models with VAX Workbench and Line 6 POD HD Pro Edit- yes that's fun for me

I'm extremely interested in when the VAX Workbench and VAX firmware will get that supposed 2.0 update.

I really want a Fractal Audio AxeFxII....I must say as of late they are taking the cake on updates and listening to their customers, I just need to save up a few grand for the unit and foot-board.

About Me

Current Gear-

Guitars-

-2006 Gibson Explorer- serious serious high gain pickups yet the neck pickup will give me a great clean kick in some drive and kick the wah and it's magical

-Fender Japanese Jaguar HH w/ 80's electronics inside of it somehow....I'm not complaining it sounds and plays better than any guitar I've ever played. If I had the money I'd buy 5 more of these to setup for different tunings and ditch the JTV....Unfortunately I don't have the money so thank you JTV

-JTV-59 TS

-Taylor GS Mini Mahogany (I owned the original GS Mini loved it, then saw the mahogany was coming out as ltd edition for spring but that was not the case, Taylor is still manufacturing them. the iPad of guitars as someone once said in their review.

Amps and Monitors-

-Line 6 DT-25 combo 1x12 sitting on an Auralex Great GRAMMA

-KRK RP5 G2 x 2 sitting on Auralex Mopads

Fx-

-Line 6 POD HD PRO fed into the DT via L6 w/ 25ft gold plated Mogami cable

-L6 FBVMKII Short-board controlling the Dream Rig

Wireless-

Rack-mounted Relay G90 fed into the front of the HD PRO via 3ft angled gold plated Monster Cable

Power-

Monster Power PRO 3500 (Living in FLA random thunderstorms come through all the time it's worse in the summer, this one piece of equipment has saved all the gear listed above countless times...it takes care of hum everyone complains about on the forums ((you guys need clean power....do your research))

Cables-

Monster Cable

Mogami

Picks-

Dunlop Tortex .72

Strings-

JTV-59- D'Addario .010-.046

Fender Japanese Jaguar- Fender strings (forgot which kind I buy bulk strings) same regular light gauge. To the idiots who say all strings are the same, ask any real authorized Fender or Gibson Guitar tech and they will tell you you're an idiot for thinking all strings are the same.

Gibson Explorer- I like the Gibson Brite-wires since they don't ruin my beautiful frets, but they don't last nearly as long as D'Addario's

Taylor GS Mini- Elixirs

Other-

Ernie Ball battery powered Peg Winder

Fender Guitar Workstation

Both of the above items listed have really sped up restringing (even the JTV-59 which is a b***h to string up)

Going to try out the sonic port for my iPad 4th generation as I have no use for my original Line 6 mobile in....which I sold rather quickly on eBay the other day for $40.00!

Wish List-

I swear to god if L6 randomly releases a POD HD PRO X rather than update the firmware like we were all told I'm going to wait for the new Fractal Audio Axe FX unit and switch over for my fx and amp modeling.....I'm sticking with the DT25 since it's a great amp and you can now control all 30 HD amp models with the midi connection and an iPad but after seeing someone from Line 6 on YouTube comment that the HD 500 x is like the iPhone4s vs the iPhone 4 I can clearly see where Line 6 is going....I believe the Axe FX II is on firmware version 10.xx now

I love the HD Pro but I like the idea of keeping one unit and continually updating it like I thought we were doing the HD Pro.....So we'll see...

Thanks for reading
