Hello, I have been using the Firehawk FX with my 5 string Cort A5 Artisan bass (active Bartolini MK-1 pickups) for several months. I do not use any cabs or amp models. I use the compressor, gate, eq mostly. Also the Smart Harmony HD fx makes a decent Octave up effect, kinda like a POG and has % mix so you can blend it nicely... Mostly I got it because I can control it from my phone or Nook..(both Android) and I needed a compressor. After loading 1.10 firmware I have had no problems. Have not loaded 1.20 yet. The ducking delay is nice as is the chorus and flange fx... It can do overdrive and other distortion effects well but I don't use them. The direct XLR out is nice for playing through a sound system at church or other similar venue. Just make sure you mute your phone if you have it connected (blutooth) and are using the output in NON-amp mode. It streams music if you want to but it will also play notifications etc... through the output unless amp mode is used. All in all I like the Firehawk FX but I don't use that many of the features...... Maybe if they had a SVT cab....... But I run it into my Markbass CMD121p with an 800 watt head, when not going direct, and it sounds great..... Hope this helps, Mark

I had the "Load error-21" happen last night two different times after loading a few patches and saving to the Firehawk using the hold down the button until name flashes then hold down again until the name changes. After I turned it off, then a bit later I turned it back on is when it happened for me. I had to do a "factory reset" to get the patches to work again. When I would select that patch, I think it was button A, all the lights on the switches were off and it displayed the load error...... I had overwritten the First Patches in the system, A,B,C and D. I just bought it so I re-loaded firmware as well not knowing if the old firmware was actually the most current. Didn't happen any more last night... Haven't gigged with it yet... Got it Tuesday.. 5-11-15.... I am really liking being able to edit with my phone....

My MotoX-II phone App works good, getting same issue with it disconnecting when anything else is opened and the app minimizes... There also needs to be a way to re-name My Tone patches... not just delete... Sometimes the little diskette to "save" does not show up when I select the cloud, only "share" choices. but the editing seems to work pretty good. My Nook will run the app but it doesn't work well, maybe it is too slow, it is not on the list of Android supported devices...

When I save a patch to My Tones and then update it later after changing something I get 2 of the same name on the My Tones list instead of it over-writing the name. Then later it is confusing as to what one is the one I really want to use. This is when I use my Android phone app....Is anyone else having this happen and how can I remedy this. There is also now way to re-name a patch on the list, just delete it....
