  1. This is a known problem with the micro switch buttons that are soldered to the internal circuit board. The buttons wear out and need to be replaced on a fairly regular basis. I submitted a fairly lengthy post with all details of how to do this but the post has expired. In summary, you need to open up the Short Board and de-solder the failed switch from the circuit board, then solder in a new one. The switches are very cheap and can be sourced online or from any electronics supplier. Next time I open mine up I will take pictures and re-post the instructions since this seems to be a fairly common problem. This was the post in case anyone from Line 6 is paying attention http://line6.com/support/message/366052#366052 but as I said, it is no longer there.
  2. Yes, I have this ongoing issue as well. Don't mess with the external buttons because that is not the problem. You need to change the buttons inside that are soldered to the circuit boards. I made a fairly lengthy post about this some time ago but it seems they are only keeping posts up to one year. Long storry short you need to take it in and get it fixed by a qualified repair shop or do it your self. I opted for the later, it's easy if you know how to solder. Going to try and find my post and send it to you.
  3. Well I was thinking there might be a programming modification that changes the way the available memory is used. I understand that it is probably not pheasible to modify the circuit board. 14 seconds....who came up with that in the first place. Poor design.
  4. I love my HD100 MkII now that Line 6 has fixed a couple pet peeves of mine but one still remains. The quick loop is a very useful tool, especially when practising solos or other parts, which is my primary use for this feature. But, can you play a 12 bar blues pattern in 14 seconds? I am ammazed that I have not found any other complaints about this fairly obvious failing of this feature. Is there a mod of some kind to increase the loop time beyond the very limiting 14 seconds?
