1500 users. I'd like to create a forum where you can post the title of a tone that you created and put into the cloud. I also want to use this as Search forum. For instance..."in search of a great Orange head patch" and if someone has created a good one they can reply to the post here with the title so one can search for it in the cloud and DL. I know there is already a ton of tones in the cloud but I want ones that are specifically created for using with the 1500 in a live setting. So, does anyone have a badass Marshall JCM 900 patch that they've put into the Cloud that sounds good at rehearsal/gig volumes? THANKS

ColonelForbin. Thanks for the reply! Can you explain to me the monitor input routing you mentioned? I do plan on connecting the amp directly to the front of house board via xlr. If I update the firmware will this effect that? Thanks

Ok thanks capdoogie. So what has everyone been using in a live situation to switch channels?

For those using the FBV3 w the 1500...how is the "lag" time when switching from one amp model/setting to another? Comparable to switching channels on a traditional 2 channel amp? Thanks!

CapDoogie...thanks for the reply! So if go the xlr route the Soundguy can control your volume FOH and you can control your master output independently (like a monitor) Do you use any traditional pedals in the front of the amp in addition to the foot controller? How do they sound with the 1500? I ideally want to use the 1500 just for amp models and my real pedalboard for stomps. Thanks again!

First off, thanks to everyone who has left a review. Very helpful! I'm seriously considering the 1500 but I have an important question as a gigging musician...please take a sec to hear/read me out. 1. Say you've set up a bunch of patches all with an output Volume of say, 5. But while you're soundchecking onstage the sound guy says "can you turn down a couple of notches" do I have to now manually go and change EVERY patch? This could be a pain if you set up a patch for every song in your set. 2. is there some sort of "auto save" feature where say I'm playing in patch 1 and I realize mid song that I'm a little loud so I decide to turn the master down on the amp (like you would with a "traditional" amp) will it remember that volume setting if I switch to Patch 2 then back to Patch 1? Again, like a traditional amp? It would be impossible to save via the app on the fly. Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry...there is no FIREHAWK 1500 forum yet. I tried starting a new topic and I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Thanks for the reply Phil_M. Line 6 really is innovative...they are the first company to sell a multi channel (essentially) amp without a foot switch. As much as I love the products that this company puts out they frustrate me. I bought the FIREHAWK FX and a few months later they release Helix! Which appears to be 100x better than the FIREHAWK. Now this 1500, which looks awesome, is not integrated w the FX and you have to shell out the additional $250 in order to make this amp more than one channel. Not cool. I own a DL4, an M9, a JTV-69 and a FIREHAWK FX so I'm a fan of the products but I think they are starting to take advantage of there customer base here.

Does anybody know if you can use the FIREHAWK FX as a foot controller for the FIREHAWK 1500? I really don't want to drop an additional $250 for a foot switch when I just dropped $400 on the FX and am considering getting the 1500. In transparency, I'm hoping to use the 1500 just for amp models (not the stomps) and plug my regular pedalboard into the front of it but I want to be able to change amp models/channels on the fly. I really wasn't big on using the 4 cable method w th firehawk and a traditional amp. Too many cables and hassle. THANKS
