That's what I'm afraid of've.. I don't think it's built to last for years, "enter" & "4 way nav pad" (poorly constructed) are probably the first one to go before the "multi function knobs" which feels very soft like a toy..

Boss units have sturdy knobs that can withstand heavy handed users in comparison..

Btw I'm referring to the edit knobs on the HD unit not the amp knobs (tre/mid/bass etc...) on the hd500x.

Hey All, Bought a new HD500x, without plugging the unit first thing I noticed are the plastic control knobs, they feel very fragile? worried this would easily break or come loose? Anyone experience trouble with these knobs? probably have to use this unit very gently lol, for the price point I wonder why Line 6 did not focused a bit more on this part, I can only imagine if someone step on it by accident.. Good thing I'm loving this tone machine!

Novice question here, Will the FBV mkII able to edit patches on the SV mkI?

Bought a used SV mkI, I've been tempted to try different power tubes on it, does anyone know what plave voltage the am runs? anyone tried a 6CA7's? Another question; will it sound bad if you don't bias SV with tube replacement? since it's got a modelling cab and preamp I'm not sure if bias has any effect?

Novice question here; will the Effects works with an external preamp hook up in the loop return? I'd like to use the Power (Bogner) section with a tube (randall rm4) preamps.. If not? is there a way to bypass the digital amp modeling? connecting into guitar input to utilize the effects?

Apologies if this had been ask over a dozen times already.. Does it require to have an POD HD connected to DT50/25 to access the HD Amp models? or it can be done just using the Software only, without POD HD? Another question; I heard about the Tranny problem on DT's, is there a specific serial number batch that doesn't have that problem? looking to get a used DT 50/25..
