  1. Will the HD 500X patches work on my HD 500?
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h0SdMH821M Try this link, it gives you a great tutorial on how to download a patch.
  3. Lol, haven't been knocked unconscious but have had one heck of a shock from the mic that made my lips go numb in front of about 2000 people. Sucks.
  4. I too am a solo artist that uses backing tracks. I use My Lyric Book app and put all my lyrics on this app on my IPad. You can download all your backing tracks onto your IPad and the first time you bring up a page of lyrics you hit the music icon on the bottom of the page and it will bring up all your backing tracks, select the BT you want and it will play. You only have to do this once and then it will automatically play when you hit the music icon anytime after that. Very cool. Hope this helps. If you send me your email address I can send u a short vid on how I have it set up. The vid is too big for here, I tried. My email is lorne.kingdon@gmail.com
  5. Seemed to have misplaced my power cord for my Pocket Pod, can i use my Pod Xt Live or my Pod HD300 power supply?
  6. I downloaded a decibel meter on my phone. Set it on the counter beside me in my studio, turned the volume up to gig level on my "go to patch", noted the decibel reading, and then went through all my patches and set them the same. This worked great. I tried to do it all by ear memory and found that by the time i got to my last patch, ( i use 22) I was wandering way off the volume of the first one. Hope this helps.
  7. Every once in a while my HD300 volume drops off to about half the volume it was. It does it on every channel. I saved all my settings, re-set pedal to factory settings, re-booted power, re-calibrated volume pedal, nothing, still does it. Leave pedal alone for a few days and try again and it is fine. Sometimes play a entire gig, 2-3 hours no problems, sometimes play 15 minutes, problems. Any ideas anybody?
  8. Ok, thanks for the info, going to try it out.
  9. Thanks, any ideas for a good all around setting on the EQ, eg sad face, smiling face etc etc
  10. I know to align speakers in front of mike but in small clubs I still get the odd feedback. I am thinking of running the signal through an external EQ and see if that helps. Just trying to get away from lugging more equipment to the gig.
  11. I am running an HD300 through the PA, I have the switch on the back on stereo, My mike (Shure 58) picks up the stage sound and feeds back to the Pod distorting the sound horribly, any suggestions? Love the sounds i get with this rig but if I can't use it live (I am a one man show) it is useless to me. I never had this problem with my Pod XT Live, and used it for hundreds of gigs. thanks
