  1. If you have it plugged into hdedit software while changing patches it can act erratic like that. If you are not plugged into hdedit and have that problem... I would send a support ticket into L6.
  2. I have rolled the firmware back to version 1.9 on the JTV59 and the click between patches that use different guitar models is more tolerable .... I guess it's a bug in v2.0. I hope they fix in a future version.
  3. I have rolled the firmware back to version 1.9 on the JTV59 and the click between patches that use different guitars goes away. I guess it's a bug in v2.0. I hope they fix in a future version.
  4. I was able to fix this... By going into setup and under the Variax page set 'model' to 'dont force'... I also had to set locks on volume and tone knobs on same page to prevent tone from getting all bent up between patch changes.
  5. Also, needed to set locking on tone and volume on the same page... To not bend tone between patch switches...
  6. Ok. Go into setup and under the variax page... Where it says Model... Make it say 'Don't Force' That fixed it for me..
  7. Having the same exact issue as well... There are 5 other people on other posts as well. I am using all current firmware versions JTV59 -> VDI -> HD500 -> L6 link -> DT25 Head -> output C -> 16ohm cab
  8. My JTV 59 is updated on most recent firmware... Since you are on a diff version it could rule out the JTV9 as the point of failure... Unless its a VDI issue? Annoying.. Let me know if have a eureka moment before I do... Mmmmmmkay?
  9. Yes. Same exact setup as you. Recently got the dt25 and updated all the firmware for each device and noticed it. It's very annoying and not gig worthy as it stands with the patch switch ugliness.. On the DT25 are you using the head or the combo? I am using the head. I also have it plugged into a 16ohm cab if that matters to line6 for any reason.. Now that I know I am not the only one... I will mess around with different configurations to see if I can isolate where it's coming from. I hope line6 fixes this soon.
  10. Curious, When you use HD Workbench can you change the names of the guitars... so that when you sync with HD Edit... You can see the new names (instead of remembering what T-Model 1-5 is) when settting up patches for the Dream Rig? If not, That would be a most excellent change... but not sure if the Variax stores name info for each preset in the hardware to be able to pass along to the HD500/HD Edit.. side of the Dream Rig...
