Said that EOL is not a phisical law but only a Line6 choice if the OG Hleix processors could mange NAM (probably not, because it's based on different processor architecture), "so why should L6 waste resources porting NAM to Helix?" probably at least for commercial reasons, because NAM A2 seems to be the future at the moment, so people can be attracted by it, even if they don't know what it is or if it could be useful to them. Fractal is doing it, Headrush the same, so other modelers. Regarding the EOL I only partially understand this kind of procedure. Sometimes the upgrade doesn't require big resources, as for the HD Amp Pack for Pod HD series. It's not available anymore, so they could release a firmware with the pack activated, for free or for a symbolic amount. They don't, even if there are many people still use HD500(X) modeler. I don't like this kind of behaviour.

Me and other users of the POD HD Facebook pages have tried writing to Line 6 to ask if they release a firmware with the packs included. They answer "it's impossible" like they are talking about phisical laws, while the correct answer should be "we don't want".
