I got your point guys, it's not about the superior UAD compare to others units, I'm talking about the potential of helix sound interface if it has own dedicate setting software for flexibility reason . I just hands-on the helix unit in days . I could skip something , to route the sound from the computer ( as backing track ) and guitar I'm playing and combine them as video demo with screenflow apps on Mac , even my old focusrite able to do that . I don't care about the the sophisticated result . Just want to backing track them with my helix ( since it can act as sound interface ) Regards

im planning to swap my UAD Apollo with helix sound interface,im using screenflow software on my mac, when im using my apollo i can record the sound from my mac itself and from the guitar, how i can achieve this since helix dont have any mac software for this kind of purpose

Hi all, im new member here i just using helix hx for pre/post effect and using synergy amp (syn-1) as pre amp im using it for direct method guitar----Hx input syn1 fx send---hx fx return hx main out-syn fx return syn xlr out (cabsim on)--mixer mixer--headphone i want to know what is the best routing using helix hx cabsim rather than synergy cab sim, since cabsim on/off option for synergy amp avalaible only on xlr out and this line goe straight to mixer regards, irfan
