CAN SOMEONE FROM LINE6 OR OTHERWISE ASSIST ME WITH THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE 2 L3T TOPS AND 2 L3M TOPS CONNECTED VIA L6 LINK WITH PROPER DIGITAL CABLES I BOUGHT FROM SWEETWATER HOWEVER, ONE OF THE L3T IS DISPLAYING THE (FEEDBACK) LIGHT AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES OF USE. THE LIGHT KEEPS FLICKERING FORM ORANGE TO OCCASIONAL RED. CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY?

Just did a double check on the EXTREME, yes, it has more strength but not the ability to turn off the transmitting frees so I will stick with the Express, Thanks again Guys and also thanks to Line6 for creating this Forum.

Thanks Guys for your input especially SiWatts who took the time to address the individual questions. I was fortunate enough to borrow an EXPRESS from my friend and used it at our Gig last night, I am happy to report that it's performance was Exceptional. We had a packed Dancefloor and I worked my way between the crowd and as far back from the mixer approx fifty feet and there was Never a dropout. I am sold on the EXPRESS now, all my concerns were addressed so I will have my daughter FedEx me one from Canada over the weekend. I am wondering if I should buy the EXTREME though which I think has the ability to shut off the 2.5G.

Hi SiWatts69, thanks for the reply but can you give me a little more clarification? How " modest " is modest? Is 50ft away from the Router a range that you still pick up the M20d? Do you have dropouts when the signal gets blocked by people on the Dance Floor? Is 2 feet off the ground too low to place the Router and still be able to pick up the signal without interference from people on the Dance floor? With my old Router I could have accomplished the above without dropouts. I ask these questions to be certain that the " EXPRESS " is the way to go. By the way my friend suggested that I will be more happier with the Apple AIrport EXTREME. What's your take?

Hi, Can someone assist me with this question, My NetGear N600 Wireless Router seems to have died on me. The power supply works but the unit is not booting up. I have decided to buy another Router however, from this feedback forum I realise that the Apple Airport Express (latest model) is highly recommended and I have been using the Apple adaptor out of the M20D. Should I go and get another NetGear Router or is the EXPRESS the way to go. One thing I must note is that there were hardly ever dropouts when I am mixing in crowds with the N600. Does the EXPRESS opereate "line of sight?" which would be a ticket for DROPOUTS?

Line6 needs to revisit the TRIM, TRIM TRACKING AND AUTO TRIM feature on this Mixer. I have said it before and maintain that it is causing problems within the Mixer.

This forum is really excellent. You guys are so helpfull. This kind of information would never be found in a Manual. Kudos to Line 6 for establishing this Forum. Many thanks for the suggestions and would definitely encourage my Guitar Player to check out these forums.

Very good idea of the 5 Apps. This would definitely take the headache away from the Soundman. How about an UPGRADE where one M20d can interact with the other to expand the number of channels and Monitor Mixes etc.

Thanks a lot for your input. I will let my Guitar Player know. I have watched some demos on YouTube and the sounds in the Pod are awesome. I do hope my Guitarist buys a one.

Here's the question. My Guitarist wants to buy a Pod500 and need to know how he can connect it to the M20d via L6link from the pod. The problem is the L6link from the M20d is presently being used to drive the FOH L3ts (4 spkrs.) If he connects to the input of the mixer on the L3t will it be in the mix of the recording being done on the M20d via an SD card?

Dboomer, I certainly agree with you to stay away from the Pendrives. I too, have been using an SD Card and it works every time. The only small problem I have is that every two hours of recording it gives me notice that my 2hrs is almost up so I have to restart the recording to continue. Is there a way for me to get around that issue?

Don't know what your problem was with the M20d but I had some problems with mine and I live in the Caribbean where there isn't a Dealer. I got in touch with Line6 through their support and within two weeks upon receipt of my Mixer by the folks in Los Angeles I got a brand new mixer, so I assume there was some slackness with the person(s) you dealt with in the UK

Thank you very much and I sure agree that Line6 should incorporate that feature in an Upgrade.

Can someone tell me if its possible to FAST FORWARD a playback (Mains Out) on the M20d. Every time I try, the track goes back to the beginning. I tried holding down the ----fast forward ----- arrow but that does not help. I can't seem to find anything in the Manual.

I had the same problem and contacted Line6 a who requested that I send back the Mixer to them because there was no Line6 Support available down here in Saint Kitts where I am. The Board was sent back and as soon as they received it, I was promptly issued a new Board. Service from Line6 is FANTASTIC, to say the least.
