  1. Thank you Rick for your answer about IUS. I don't know if the patch was saved or not´ before shutdown. Anyway I will check @home what will happen,
  2. A week ago, we were playing with the band in a restaurant when suddenly we got a general power supply shut down and stayed few minutes in the dark.... When power was recovered, the patch of the M20d was partially lost. For instance the kick was in the lead singer channel and the snare took the place of the back singer, then it was a great confusion in the sound for the audience and on stage with the monitors. It took several minutes to the sound engineer ( fortunately we had one) to recover the control. I guess that this situation was due to the fact that during the connection we switched channels 1 and 2 (voices) with channel 11 to 12(drums), then when power was back, these switches were saved but physically the voices and drums mics where not at the "memorized" connections. For that reason or any other, we decided to purchase a UPS. What type of UPS (power, amperage) do you recommend for the Stagescape? Thank you for recommandation. And happy new year to LINE6 community.
  3. Recently I had to install the stagescape about 20 m ALAT from the closest L3. I had only 2x15m Aes 110 ohms cable. I connected them together And got a 30 m' long cable. When we started the soundcheck, we noticed that there was frequent lost of signal too the L2/L3 ring. I immediatly thougt that It was due to the LIVELINK ring. We decided to review the connections using L/R outputs And A/B/C/D monitors outputs. It tooks 40 mn to me to do that...instead proceeding to the Sound check... Then everything was RIGHT was OK. Then, please believe the user Manuel and the LINE6 recommandation to not use too long cable ( 20 m long maxi) !
  4. A trick : I am using L3M/T bags for L2T (around the same price) and use the extra room to store cables together with the L2. One drawback is that the roller are not attached for long and tough use, I have broken two of them within two months....
  5. To Dietetstoll : I had the same freezîng trouble, one year and à half ago. It was solved by servicing in UK To digitalsound : I also had similar hardware connectors troubles solved by two servicing periods in 2013 and 2014, the last on july. I'm waiting for intensive use in september to be sure that it is defintly OK, and be fully confident. Despite these troubles, I do enjoy the use and Sound quality of my LINE6 sound system.
  6. I allo have experienced similar connection troubles: With xlr inputs, jack inputs and xlr analogie output (not with Line6Link connections...) this troubles were solved by twice servicing période (with two weeks delivery Time) My opinion is that the connectors mass are a weak feature of the M20d. Problem of manufacturing Process or quality control ? In any case, this lack of reliability on basic connectors do not satisfy me as a customer. But when it is working with out trouble, me and my band, we really enjoy the LINE6 Sound system. A l'astrologie comment about servicing is that there zero comment about the works done, except : OK Repaired... À bit frustrating
  7. Two comments: If I connect the M20d#1 to the Aux In of #2, I could save 2 xlr input, then total 24 xlr , Yes or no? In any case, With two M20d, I still have only 4 Aux/monitor output. No possibility to have 6 consistent Aux outs. Any idea?
  8. Your advice about an alternate solution that I could set : I have 2 L3m, 3 L2 and stagescape, (but no L3) Of course I use connect all of them though LINE6 LINK. My former system was BOSE L1 model II, with 4 Bass B1 (using a Packlite bass extension). So, I'm thinking of mixing the LINE6 and BOSE device (BOSE only for BASS diffusion purpose, i.e. without the "Radiator" column, but with Tonematch and BOSE amp. So my question : is it convenient to have the M20d display in the same time the signal through the port LINE6 Link (for LINE6 devices) AND through the analog port L/R (to the BOSE device)? The advantage for me is that I already have the BOSE gear, I like the BOSE Bass sound and the set is several "light" easy to carry boxes. My specific question can be related to a general question : is it "permitted" to connect equipment though LINE6 LINK and L/R analog port?
  9. ÃŽ have had, unfortunately, similar issues with my MD20 bought one year ago : freezing of screenplay : back to supplier, service and the problem fixed. Later, issues with the RECORDING using the right SD card class 10 : only tracks 1 to 8 were recorded...: once more back to supplier, service and the problem was fixed. By those days, I have another issue : loss of signal from LEFT analog output.... my m20d will for the third time go back to service...I hope for the last time...I like the overall concept of thr LINE6 soundsystem, when it is working well, but I would add that durieng my last public gig, I was not fully confident and a bit stressed...
  10. Thank you very much for this "advanced" answer. I didn't read enough in depth the technical advanced user instructions manuel....I will try this option very soon ! And feed back. Have a nice day
  11. I do appreciate the quality and variety of effects displayed by M20d, but I was disappointed to not be able to use by the SAME time the chorus effect for my Guitar and the Voice Dobler for the singer. The two effects are linked to the EFFECT C, and there is no possibility to reaffect one of them to EFFECT À or B or D May be possible in a coming M20d update? Waiting for that, would anyone have an alternative possible using only the M20d ressources (i.e other than "keep on using your BOSS chorus box(...) Happy New Year to ALL LINE6 forum users
  12. I have experienced first a USB router type CISCO Linksys AE1000, cause it is cheaper than the APPLE kit. But I had several disconnection troubles during gigs, and sometimes It took time to recover the connection. This is a stressing experience, you know that. Then I resolve to get the APPLE AIRPORT kit 6 months ago, and definitely I consider that it is much much more efficient and safe :) :). I'm often using also LINE6 wireless gear as guitar or XDV mics, it does not generate any kind interference. Then I'm fully satisfied with that solution, far more the best one, up to me,... for a few € expense. (I have a LINKSYS for sale…. QUESTION : I read in a previous post that "it had the added bonus of being able to wireless stream music from the iPad via Airplay with the addition of a 1/8 to 1/8 audio cable from router to aux input on desk." I tried to do while plugging with a cable 1/8 from router to M20d 1/8 to Aux, but the media player does not recognize the connection. What is the right way to proceed? Thank you for your kind answer (may be already answered somewhere else through this powerful user forum…) HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL OF YOU :D
  13. The M2Od is back home, arrived after more than 6 weeks service. It seems to be working well but not fully tested i.e. recording functions . I will post it is not the case. I cross my fingers !
  14. You are lucky Eukieb! In Europe, things don't go that way...I'm still waiting for a message that Thomann would send to me annnouncing the imminent delivery of the fixed device. (I'm confident they will as soon as they will receive the package from LINE6 UK)<br />I keep you informed.
  15. Thank you, line6job for your reply and for this good news. I'm really in the "starting bolocks" waiting for the delivery. And I'm surprisedto get the news through this forum channel and not through private mail.
