  1. Thank you both! Makes complete sense.
  2. I've downloaded a few patches from CustomTone and most are just in the raw .hlx format. However, a bunch have the extension .pgp, such as VoxRocks and others from @suhr99 and others. I'm on a Mac and am unable to decode or unpack them. Why are patches being encoded? They're like 20kb max.
  3. There are so many pages here that this may have been suggested, but I would like to have sort of a scratch pad in HX Edit where, while editing, you could drag blocks to save them while comparing. There are so many Amps/Cabs/Effects/etc, that after tweaking, if you want to try something different and compare, you lose all of your work. It would be nice if you could drag a version of a block to a temporary library so that you could recall it if you want to get back to it. An alternative/addition/easier to use feature would be to maintain the changes to a particular block type (like Amp) so that if you change the parameters of the one amp type, then change it for another, when you switch back it maintains your settings. It's not back to defaults. This would be an HX Edit only feature.
  4. I just got my Helix Floor yesterday and updated to 3.0.1 Firmware. I'm connecting it to a MacBook Pro 2015 running 10.15.7 via USB. I also have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. I'm attempting to run HX Edit while running Logic Pro. I configured Logic Pro so that the output goes to the Scarlett and the input is from the Helix USB. I monitor using headphones connected to the Scarlett. All of this works as expected and I'm able to edit a patch while monitoring. However, every once in a while when doing an edit in HX Edit there will be a glitch and then the sound will then be delayed by like 1/2 second. It's really delayed and unusable. Is this something that should work?
  5. So support was able to fix my problem and it was VERY simple! I had attempted the re-flashing with 2 different USB cables. Support suggested I try a different one. For some reason the 3rd one worked! Everything is now working as it should! Thank you psarkissian for your help! Mark
  6. psakissian, if you're sending this to me, that's what I've done. I've tried re-flashing, both the current version and older versions and I get an error every time. I should add that I have also selected the option to overwrite the presets, since I don't have any.
  7. I'm in a similar boat. I have a JTV-59 and wanted to update the firmware since Workbench HD would not connect to it. I think it was 1.8x or something. I actually had to do the update on my backup MacBook Pro as I'm on 10.15 Catalina on my main machine and Monkey doesn't work with it. :-( When I did the update, it said it failed. However, Monkey shows it as being on 2.23 and I can now connect to Workbench HD. When connected to WHD, all presets display as ??????? and there are no models/pickups/etc selected for anything. The output is also the same for all models. I've tried to reinstall latest over a dozen times in Monkey, but each time it fails with an error code of 80009000 Unknown Midi Error. I've also tried to downgrade and same issue. Any ideas? If I had a bundle of the presets, I think I could upload them. I don't know why you can't do this, especially since Monkey doesn't work on recent macOS.
