  1. When I did this testing, no blocks in the Stomp were active at all! It still makes the amp slightly noisier and more prone to feedback even at unity volume on the Stomp (no volume drop when switching the GM40 FX Loop on/off). No matter if I used 4CM or not. Maybe a impedance issue that a buffer can rectify? I´ve tried changing the impedance of the input of the Stomp, didn´t do anything about the problem!
  2. I have come across an annoying problem here. Whenever I use the HX Stomp in the FX Loop of the H&K Grandmeister Deluxe 40, the amp becomes noisier and more prone to feedback on the high gain channels even with conservative gain settings and no boost. This constantly happens, no matter if I I do the 4CM or use the HX Stomp In/Out only in the GM40 FX Loop. I started checking the amp FX Loop with a straight patch cable, different pedals etc. and only when the Stomp is involved, the noise issue arises. So it´s not the amps loop that´s failing I´ve tried switching between Instr/Line levels, different impedances on the HX Stomp input, increasing/decreasing level gain on the In/Out of the Stomp but so far to no avail. Help anyone? Has someone maybe encountered the same problem with other amps?
  3. That is true, but the option to turn it off would still be nice to have! Alternatively, they could add a model of the Nano Attack (just the attack circuit of the Horizon Drive) in another update. Does not sound impossible since there is a model of just the gate circuit from the Horizon Drive in 3.0
  4. I'm loving this new patch, so many great additions to the Helix! I have one request for the next minor update: Can you make it possible to completely turn off the gate on the Horizon Drive model? Even if I turn the gate to 0 it's still active and since I play around a lot with my guitar volume pot on a crunchy tone, it kills the sustain when I go for clean-ish tones (boosted crunch with guitar volume around 1-2) Aside from that, it's a great boost for anything high gain!
  5. Thank you for a thorough answer! At least I know where to start now as soon as I get my hands on the HX Stomp! The great thing with the EFX - LE is that I can change the order of the loops since I have a few other pedals that I want to switch around depending on the song I play!
  6. Can you show a diagram of some sort or in some way describe how the chain for that looks like?
  7. Hi, I'm looking into getting a HX Stomp to integrate with my pedalboard! I'm using a Musicomlab EFX - LE to control my pedals and it has 6 loops + a volume loop that I use in 4CM with a H&K Grandmeister Deluxe 40! Is it possible to hook up the Stomp via it's effects loop into two of the loops of the EFX - LE in order to control which effects to be pre/post amplifier?
