  1. I bought an Audient id44 for recording and want to use this as my audio interface, but I'm having trouble understanding how to record the Helix. I have the monitors hooked up to the Audient, and both the Audient and Helix are connect to my Macbook Pro via USB. I'm using Propellerhead Reason as my DAW. Shouldn't I be able to get the digital signal of the Helix through this setup via USB? I'm not able to see any audio signal in Reason or the Audient mixer. Ultimately, I'm trying to monitor the live sound from the Helix, but also record the dry signal for reamp and additional processing via Helix Native in Propellerhead Reason. Any ideas on what I may be missing?
  2. Installed Helix Native, set the Propellerhead plug-in folders to the VST3 folder Helix Native is in, but Reason 9.5 still does not find Helix Native. Any ideas?
  3. Can't wait for this. Placing the Helix on the desktop and using your hands to edit is great. Great, that is, until the unit spends a night at the bar gig getting stomped on by sticky feet that have been to places unknown and unseen.
  4. Yikes, what an ugly guitar and what a step down from the current JTVs. Glad I have my 69 already in hand. Hope Line 6 continues to keeps a higher end version of the Variax going vs. this Yamaha piece of junk.
  5. Just upgraded to new MacBook Pro from an older Windows laptop and am dismayed to find out out I am unable to record guitar into Reason 7 via my KB37 and PodFarm without significant audio pops and glitches. It sounds fine when using ToneDirect Monitoring, but the recorded guitar is awful. This happens no matter how high I set the buffer in Reason. Any ideas on what is going on? Am starting to hear about potential USB 3.0 (on Macbook) incompatibility with legacy USB 2.0 devices and drivers. Unfortunately, no USB 2.0 option on the Mac. Not a very happy Apple convert at the moment.
  6. That did the trick. My "Input Setup" was set to "Preset". If I set to "Global" I can hear all the patches. Thanks!
  7. I just downloaded some POD HD500x patches from customtone, but for many if them there is no sound. It looks like all the FX, AMPS and settings downloaded correctly. Volumes are up on amps, mixer, pedal, etc. Preloaded patches and ones I've customized work fine, just not the downloaded ones. Any ideas?
