I have both units (Helix rack and AxeFx III) and it seems to me each shines at different things.. I like and plan to keep both for quite a while. YMMV :)

I sent it back.. And btw.. The GT-1000 editor and drivers installed and work just fine .. :)

Well considering the buttons did nothing either and I run editors from everything from an Axe Fx to a Helix Rack to a Two Notes Torpedo Live to multiple plug ins and my DAW software w/o a hitch, I'm thinking it's the Pod Go ;)

Enough's enough. This trainwreck of an experiment is over and this unit is going back. Nothing works on this unit. Buttons knobs, editor, nothing.

I need to preface this by saying I've been a Line 6 user since the original bean... I've owned more Line6 gear than I can remember.. I still use the UX2, Variax 700,, JTV 89F, Helix rack and others in storage I'm sure I've forgotten.. This is the most frustrating pc of hardware I've tried to integrate into my studio in a long long time.. Not ready for prime time.. I had enough problems with my Helix Rack unit to where I had to send it in to be serviced.. This however is a completely different level of effed up.. BTW Line 6,, your support center is not open until 4pm PST.. You close at 3:00 after an hour of lunch from 12-1:00pm Might want to change that on your support link... That matters to east coasters ;)

Disconnects within 5 seconds.. I'm done fighting this thing.. Not ready for prime time..

I really can't believe this . Edited::: After almost two days I've been able to restore my DAW PC.. I'm done fighting Pod Go and the editor. I'm tired of getting disconnected every 2 seconds

I am curious as to the quality of the effects, and the ability to place effects before or after the amp. I do have a Helix rack unit but it's in a different rack in my studio. I'd like to use the Pod go with my tube amps that are all in a different cabinet hooked to a Kahayan 8x4..

Thank You Silverhead.. I've done that.. I get no signal at all when using the Mic XLR in. That's what's driving me nuts.. When using the 1/4" in, the global settings have no effect.. And, if I swing the 1/4" cable around and go in the "guitar in it actually works better than in thru the Aux in on the back :/

Hey guys, I did a search and found nothing so, Can someone please tell this noob how to use a mic with my Helix Rack? I've been using the Helix into Reaper for guitar tracks for a while with no problem.. So I decided to plug a mic in for vocals and doing station ID drops for my band. I'm using the Studio Tube Pre in to into an amp with a cab and slight verb.. If I plug into the Aux 1/4" in on the back I get signal but it's terrible.. The hiss is terrible even with a gate.. If I use a Mic/XLR cable into the "Mic In" in the back I get no signal what so ever.. I have the "Mic In Gain" in Global set to 27db.. And nothing :( Tearing hair out here, what am I doing wrong? HELP!!
