  1. ah, ok. At least thats worth a try. Because normally I have it always at the toe down position when not in use
  2. As I wrote it is not too loose, its really tight. I first tried to tighten it more, but then it starts squealing, so that would be too tight. Anyway, thanks for your answer
  3. Hi, I have set the Wah-pedal in my patches to be turned off when the pedal stays on position lower than 5% for more than 500ms. But my pedal does not reach that position. Every time i lift it up totally it has positions between 6 and 12%. Reaches 0 only when I keep my foot on it pressing it down with lot of pressure. When I then release my foot, it goes again to at least 6%. The pedal itself is stiff, not loose Is there no way to calibrate the pedal? or what could be the issue? Thanks for your effort answering me
  4. Just use a stereo cable. I used one to connect my FV-500L to the Helix and it worked just perfect. (Although I normally dont use a second pedal ;-) )

    EXP1 "on boot"

Ah, ok. setting to on as rd2rk worked indeed, I'm really new to the Helix, how can I set the pedal to autoengage? Didnt find it yet. But in total the Helix is not such a problem when you come from the HD500x as I do :D

    EXP1 "on boot"

Here is another question about the expression pedals. I read a lot of answers and questions but none of them really answers my question. Wah pedals are always added as EXP1 - Volume pedals as EXP2 - copy that, thats alright. But I dont use any volume pedal, I only use wah pedals. And my "problem" is that when starting up the helix or selecting a preset, the buildin pedal is always assigned to EXP2 and I have to step on the toe switch to change it to EXP1. I remember bad days on stage where I forget this... Is there any way that the pedal starts up as EXP1? I know I can assume all wahs to EXP2 or I can put in just a simple cable into the EXP2 input (that changes the buildin pedal to EPX1, you dont have to add an extra pedal). But it would be nicer when it would startup with EXP1 without any workaraounds or using the toe switch on each preset.
  7. Just one question in between: I've bought a used Helix and received it today. It still has the 1.04 flash memory installed, seems the pre-owner never updated it. Can I flash 2.60 over 1.04 or do I have to make some "intermediate steps" ?
  8. man, this is ridiculous. Why do they need so long? big announcement but nothing happens. seems to be only an advertising promise
