  1. Relay G10S Unreliable and worthless for live performance most of the time. Line 6 advertises that their The Relay G10S provides pristine 24-bit audio quality, free from dropouts and interference, and has an impressive 130' line-of-sight range. This is false advertisement and untrue. I have nothing but repeat drop outs on most live stages standing only 3 feet from it rendering it useless to perform with. Their customer support is aware of this issue and feels that it is acceptable to keep making this claim in order to sell it when they know otherwise. Buyers be ware.
  2. Not reliable Unstable wireless connection make this more a novelty than a tool for musicians. After contacting line6 about connection issues. I am disappointed in them not taking ownership of the very bad connection issues that makes using the G10 for professional performances not viable at all. Their ads make claims are about their technology that they use to ensure a clean and reliable signal, but it is a fantasy and must have been tested in a Faraday cage. They may be right if there is no other Wi-Fi being used at the same time. In the real world the competition on stage is significant and the G10 just can not reliably navigate around all of the other devises. Numerous routers, wireless mics, wireless IEM, wireless iPads , mixers, and every phone on stage are a reality almost everywhere now ( moving them is just not an option). It is a shame as the form factor is the best in the industry but that gives little comfort when the signal drops mid performance. There are lots of cheap junky wireless transmitters out there that you get what you pay for, but while this is less expensive than a quality Shure product, it is not cheap at all. Low latency and clear sound is important, but none of that matters if you can not use it.
