One of the first things I checked. I did solve it. After doing a reset I had neglected to review the default settings. The MIDI settings had gone back to default so the Helix was sending a PC MIDI command that was shutting off the FX loop every time any MIDI command was being triggered.

So here is my issue. I have my Helix going into the Tubemeister via 4 cable method and I am using MIDI to switch channel on Snapshots So I can have Snap 1 on the clean channel but I can switch between Helix amps and the HK preamp with a foot switch. I do the same with each snap shot so I have one for crunch and one for lead channels. The midi assignments are applied to the first instant slot in the command center. My problem is if I switch presets (even a similar 4CM preset) the Tubemeister Effects loop is shutting off until I press one of the Snapshots. Shouldn't the midi command be sent automatically upon loading the preset?

After asking around and getting sent in the right direction I got midi commands working. I made a quick video which I hope is clear (I'm currently medicated for spine issues so I think I rambled a bit) so let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Could you share how you made the MIDI assignments? I'm reading the H&K manual and I am not clear which MIDI commands to use or how to assign them. Thanks!

Does anyone know which set of MIDI commands Helix can emulate? I am trying to get transport control with the Helix foot switches for Record/Play/Stop.

Wouldn't you expect to see any big news AT NAMM?

I have used Parallels to install a copy of Mavericks. Not ideal, but at least I can install and run Workbench.
