I've done it yesterday night!!!!! BUT .... I'm usig POD HD500X, so I hope it's the same.... Well the trick is to use Line6 Monkey software and update ... or better... re-write the firmware on the POD. During this proces the software ask you if you want to erase the CUSTOM tone (if I remember two times)..... if you press YES you have your POD at factory default Just remember.... this work for 500X I don't really know for HD Pro

Sorry... I don't agree..... Sometimes, especially in a solo Acoustic live is necessary to pump a little bit your sound, also... use some chorus, reverb, delay and finally ... sometimes is necessary to use a very clean sound, maybe equalized... In other words..... The effects chain is also useful on acoustic guitar too!!

It seems Line6 insist on the "....EFFECTS MODELS...." included in the next upgrade........ It's clearly wrote on this site in the official document.... SO.... Any news about this new effects????

Anyone using HD500x MAINLY for Acousti guitars? 12 string, Martin, Ovation??? I opened this tread because most, if not all, of the tone in the CustomTone and in this Community are around Electric Guitars. I'm searching for ideas about effects using, Amp simulation (if needed), experiences, suggestions from the HD500x users on acoustic guitar. SO.... Anyone about this subject??? Thanks Rino

Thanks to all guys!!! I have also learned how to use the A & B path.......... Just another little question.... in term of Tone difference between HD500 and HD500x.... What are the things to check or modify importing a 500 tone into a hd500x?

Thanks.... Probably I have not explain very well.... I know what it Overdubbing and Looper... but Sound-On-Sound is different for me.... Maybe an example sound better.... Have you ever ear the acoustic <Shine On> make by Gilmour? Well... he use a "Sort of" SoS... he play the chord, make something (maybe open a long delay), freeze the chord... or better the delay sound .....and than play the solo, when chord change he repeat the sequence... My original question is (if possible) how to .... without or better WITH the HD500x Thanks anyway Rino

First of all... thanks for your answers... and ... Have a Happy New Year Just 5 minutes ago I bought (well.... ordered!!) my HD500X and the EX-1 pedal. I'd like to have the EP1-L6 because heavy... but in Italy seems to be impossible!!! @Palico.... Can you explain what sort of fix and/or adjustement have you made on your EX-1?? Also..... one more little question.... On my acoustic guitars (Yamaha silent, EKO 12 strings, Ovation Classic) I normaly use two external effects, a TC Flanger and a Boss Delay.... How I can insert this two pedal in the Internal Effects chain of the HD500X I have to read alot of paper before to receive my new toy!! Ciao Rino

Hi to all..... I'm new in this comunity. I'm planning to buy a new POD HD500X for my little home studio, music is only an hobby!!! Well, I want to add an external expression/volume pedal to the HD500X and use the one on the unit as effects/parameter control, but it must be compatible with the main unit and also selectable from the internal program. Is this possible? Can you suggest me the right model? I saw a demo video where there is an external Pedal close to the HD500X.... This medal as a sort of M on it...... I don't know if it's the right one. Anyway... tanks to all from Italy and I hope to be a New LINE6 player soon... very soon... Rino
