Just bought the Power Pack Model Pack. I've installed all of the other purchased model packs and am having a hard time with this one. First, I followed all of the instructions in the purchase email. Launched License Manager, authorized my computer and device and only the other previously purchased add-ons show up. I power cycled the HD500. I read the FAQs. The new model pack doesnt show up in My Computer nor on the POD HD500 screen in License Manager.

Thanks for the response. I do that already on my HD500, but unfortunately, it's affects the sound of the "electric" guitar patches coming out of the effects send output. So, I am incorrect that there's a difference in how you can do output routing on the 500x vs the 500?

Good morning. I have a POD HD 500, but am thinking about getting the HD 500x because I understand you can route the patches to either the xlr out or to the 1/4 out. I use a JTV 59 Variax and would like to have my acoustic patches output from the xlr output (mono) directly to a mixer and my electric patches (also mono) out of the 1/4 output to my amp. Can someone please help me with how to do this on the pedal? Thank you.

Greetings. I’m a long time HD500 user, who just purchased the Electro Harmonix Synth 9 pedal. I use a James Tyler Variax with the Variax digital cable. The instructions for the Synth 9 suggest that I use the pedal “ahead” of all other pedals in the chain, which I technically can’t do because I’m using the Variax digital cable from my guitar into the HD500. Any routing suggestions? Please operate under the assumption that I am an idiot, and explain as simply as possible. Thanks in advance.

Greetings. I purchased and installed the new model packs for the HD500. Since then, the volume pedal does not work. nor does it work as a wah wah pedal on any of my patches. It clicks in as a wah wah pedal, but the pedal does not work any longer. My guess is that some global setting has been affected by the installation of the model packs. Any help would be appreciated, and in a simple step by step manner, assuming that I am a complete idiot. Thanks in advance.

Also, regarding the many mandolin requests, I have done a credible job with creating my own. Howeverm the problem is that trying to finger mandolin chords in mandolin tuning on a guitar neck is near impossible. The reach on a guitar neck is quite daunting when tuning in 5ths.

Get rid of the interface box and let us use the POD HD as before.
