  1. HI Nos402, I know what you mean, LOL cables are everywhere around here too. I like having the option to keep it on the floor with a permenant cable, and being able to plop it on my desk (especially now) with the Stadium to use the touch screen, and have a dedicated cable from under my desk. I was checking Amazon and Of course found my solution....Ceedmon 20 Pieces Clip-on Ferrite Ring Core RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Cable Clip for 3mm/5mm/7mm/9mm/13mm Diameter Cable, Black....9 bucks and I can go crazy LOL!
  2. Ty JP. I guess I am going to work with it on the desk position with the stock cable until I get used to it and then move it back to the floor position.
  3. Hi All, I use Helix stadium as I did with the OG Helix Floor. On the floor and at times on a helix stand on my desk. I notice the Stadium has a protector/shielded plastic cover on the power cable? So, when I use it on my desk, I want to use the OG Helix power cable (missing the protector/shield) and leave the stock Stadium power cable on the floor. Is this, ok? Any input would be appreciated.
  4. I have to agree. I didn't think I needed the powercab Plus. Well, I did! A few more bucks, a lot more capability and a Sweetwater swap and I am very happy. I too am a stricly home player/recorder person and I went full bore with the Helix floor and I am sooooooo VERY satisfied that I did.
  5. Yep, setup FX Loop 1/2 on preset. Ditto X2 Mono input to Send 1 R, X2 Output to Return L. Works like a champ. Thanks for the comment!! :-) \
  6. I have the same problem, I guess we are complete dummies or no one else has ever hooked up a ditto X2 to their Helix.
  7. Thank all of you for the replies. I wound up purchasing the Powercab112 "Active" and it sounds wonderful. The 112 Active fits my needs perfectly. The S5 goes on Reverb soon :-).
  8. Hi all, Am I correct in assuming that my Spider V 120 will work just as well with my new Helix, using the AUX 3.55 mm to Line Out 1/4 left/mono, right jacks? With a Spider V 120 preset, set to all clean - no color??
  9. Thank you for the tip. I am using Klipsch R51-PM monitors with Studio One and Presonus 26c connected to my computer. I am so new to this, so that any advice would be excellent. I use my setup to learn guitar, record song ideas, and record myself playing along to songs. I took a 35-year hiatus from playing and trying to recreate the sounds of my favorite guitarists. I usually play the guitar amped by the Spider and use Studio One to play songs through my R51's. I could connect the Helix to the R51's by USB, but don't you think shoving my guitar and the song playback through the R51's would be too much? As I said before, I am pretty much a newbie at this, and if you could elaborate on the "tweaked my presets to my studio monitors," I would so appreciate it. I expect my Helix to ship in March, so I am reading up on the manual to gain some insight before I jump in. Thanks again for your help!
  10. Is there anyone out here that is using a Spider V 120 with a Helix floor? I am awaiting the arrival of my new Helix and I am considering using the 1/8 inch AUX out from Spider V 120 to 1/4" in/out of helix. Then either USB or XLR to Presonus 26c into Studio One 5 pro. Has anyone ventured in this direction? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks all.
