one thing I found out when connecting was that I was using an orange cat4 cable, I was getting a green light. Had input jack it, usb in, cat4 in and Workbench HD wouldn't recognize it. Didnt realize it until 10 minuets later when I read the cord. I have a ton of ethernet cables so, I got and CAT5 and it worked flawlessly
