I have the same problem as some of you above. I got a firehawk fx for Christmas and then got a new amp a blackstar ht club 40 not long after and I'm having to use the 4 cable method to make it all sound good. This method is a ball ache if you need to assemble and disassemble often and means carrying a lot of extra leads about. For the price of the firehawk fx and the blackstar I could have got the 1500 and then added the foot controller later. I was very disappointed when I heard about the release of this amp as I could have saved a lot of time and money just waiting and getting this. Like others I'd quite like a 1500 that I could plug my firehawk directly into with one lead and use the fhfx as the controller.
