  1. Thank you, hurghanico That's the confuing point,so if I use the other AI as my OS and DAW Audio device, the analog output is there and no signal is going through the connecting usb cable? If so,then turning down the driver's hardware monitor level shouldn't affect the unit's analog output signal because it is passing direct through the unit (unselected as AI)right?Or it just has to be all the way up ?
  2. Nope,I want the signal direct out of my pod whlie connecting with usb
  3. So as long as I hook up my HD500x with USB,the internal signal is forced to the HD500x driver in the PC,and then back to the unit's output, the routing like this:Guitar -- HD -- USB -- the Driver -- USB -- HD -- Output. It is still one ad da converting, but the driver cuts in the middle right?Because the driver now controls the output beyond the onboard master knob, the proof is if I turn the driver control panel hardware monitor all the way down there is no sound coming out even the master knob is all the way up.So no more direct output form the unit USBed ?Thus I can't connet another XLR output to my another audio interface with direct monitor on,it means two real time asio processing and that's why I get BSOD ?I don't want to use the unit as my main interface because the latency is not good enough(I have other VIs and plugins to work with),and inconvenience, but I do want to use the Editor cause it's handy to tweak patch.Am I doing something wrong? How do you guys record with this unit?
  4. Thanks guys,I think Line 6 should pay you folks for the support
  5. I noticed when I use hd500x editor to change the block placement,it crashes and BSOD immediately, wether using daw or not,is your BSOD kind of random?
  6. What's the point to do so if i can't hear anything through my unit?
  7. Thanks for the reply,it's really annoying, when I change the block placement in the signal chain via hd500x editor,it crash my pc,wether I use my external audio card as default or the unit's,latest windows 10 version,it's really frustrating.I tried different USB ports on my motherboard,no luck,I don't know what to do,I end up uninstalling everything related to line 6 and it's also a pita.
  8. For some reason I think the hd500x driver mess up with my external audio interface driver, but when i connect hd500x with a usb cable,it automaticly connecting to the driver right ? as long as a usb cable is connecting,it force the signal routing to the usb,but I just want to edit the parameters with the hd500x editor for the sake of making life easier, why should I must install the lollipoping out of date driver ?Is there a workaround ?I don't really understand the design, for what?By the way,the driver crashes my windows 10!!!Why don't line 6 just fix their lollipop?
  9. how are you there guys :D ,i am from China, need some hleps ! i get this unit mainly for gigs without real guitar amps,in China,we have the PA system(usually instruments-->di-->mixer--speakers) for most of the living band stuff, and i think hd500x suits me better than GT100. my gears here:2i2 sound card,a laptop, and monitor,so can i get the sound exactly like playing live in the situation i mentioned above by inputting 1/4 out to the "line in" jack of my 2i2? i think there must be some a/d d/a theories, since i don't have a mixer,so i can't do any kind of tests,so what's your sugestion?my english is not good, hope you understand what i'm talking about :) thanks!!!!!
