Mobile app devs often use emulators to test their products whilst in development. I've used Genymotion before (https://www.genymotion.com/) - I don't see any reason why you couldn't do the same to have the amplifi app on your PC/Mac..

Hey guys, Ordered a TT this morning (BEFORE finding this forum) based on the Andertons review. Looks super sweet, and was pretty excited to receive it... ...Now it seems that a LOT of people are getting problems. Would I be right in assuming that the unit I receive will need to be updated straight out of the box? If so, does anyone have a link to instructions on the best way to do this (with a MacBook pro). Also, there seems to be a "Device Flash" option on the app (under updates). Can you update the device via the bluetooth connection? Thanks! ZD
