Hi Gents, Without wishing to hijack the this thread, where do the model 600's fit into all this? I really like the vintage white models with the maple necks and maple boards but what software are they limited to and how good are they compared to current models? Please advise me because i am really thinking about buying one or two of them and mating it with a Firehawk 1500 after income tax next year and in a few months buying a 2x12 Flextone III combo. I have a 1X12 combo right now and I love it. Any advise appreciated. Best regards, FlexToneHD

Angelelectric, I feel your pain. I just got th same amp you lost and i am amazed by it. I too am one of those dyed in the wool tube to the death guys and yet I keep plugging into the Felextone III 1x12 combo instead of the Marshall JCM900! My only regret is that it wasn't the 150 watt 2x12 because if the 1x12 that i have sounds this good then the 2x12 must be like the voice of God! I am reaching out here to people to get as much information and tips on this amp as well as to see if anyone has an original pilots handbook they would not mind parting with. Hi All, Trying to buy once and get it right the first time. I just got a Flextone III 1X12 Combo and I love it. I would like to really take maximum advantage of it and: (1). Determine and buy the correct matching 1x12 extension cab for it. (2). Determine the most elaborate floor controller that will work with it. I am reaching out to the experts here for some of their opinions on the Flextone HD 300 watt head. How good are they when they are properly set up, what isntherebto avoid and what should I be trying to do with it to get the most out of it. Hi All, Just joined and picking up a Flextone HD tomorrow. Missing the logo on the head. Need one if anyone has one laying around. Also my big question, What is the absolute best 4x12 cab for this head? Am I understanding correctly that I need to think outside of the typical tube head/cab dynamic here. Speakers designed for Line 6 Flextone HD's are clear/neutral so as to recreate EXACTLY what the head is modeling without coloration? On A ten scale how good can a Flextone HD sound with theright cab and settings? I'm an old Marshall gear head guy and modeling amps are new to me. Any help here is deeply appreceated.
