  2. You need to connect the Amplifi TT to your surround sound unit via the RCA jacks on the back (the red and white connections). You can stream music TO the Amplifi TT via bluetooth, but you can't stream the output FROM the amp. I hope that makes sense.
  3. You can only access the presets from Bank 1 with the buttons on the amp. If you want to access the other banks, without using the app, you need to buy the FBV Shortboard MKII (not the Express). You can replace the tones in any bank by using the app. I've already overwritten Bank 1A with my favourite tone so that it's the one that is selected by default when I turn on the amp. I've also overwritten a bunch of the factory preset tones with my own tones. I own the Shortboard MKII and I've got my own tones loaded up in banks 15-25 so that I can cycle through them quickly while playing. Yes, in order to recover any of the presets you have overwritten you'll need to do a factory reset. However, there is a bit of a work-around to avoid resetting. What I've been doing is loading up the presets I think I might want to recover at some point and I save them to My Tones. That way, they are there if I ever want them back and I can easily save them to the amp again whenever I want.
  4. Thanks for the input. For this, what is the optimum guitar level that the factory tones were all designed for? Lowering the guitar volume obviously has an effect on each tone that isn't overcome by increasing the overall volume. All of the tones would have been designed with an optimal guitar level in mind. On this one, I don't think you understood what I was saying. I know the difference between "Save" and "Save As". My problem is, sometimes when I edit an already created tone, and select "Save" it creates a new tone instead of overwriting it as it should. Thanks again for the help.
  5. Hi, I just purchased my new Amplifi TT and had a few questions. First, what is the best mix of output levels? The default levels of 75% guitar and 16% overall is far too loud to me. I usually play with headphones and I find that with the overall volume below 35% I can't get enough volume out of music tracks (even with my iPad volume maxed). But then (obviously) the guitar is then way too loud. I've been turning the guitar output down to around 55-60%, and setting the overall at 35%. Is this the best approach, or should I be turning the master volume of the amp model down instead? Secondly, and somewhat related, is there a way to set the default output levels to stay at what I want them to be? Every time I turn the Amplifi back on the outputs are back to 75/16. And lastly, for now anyway, I have a question about saving/updating tones. I have a bunch of my own created tones that I am still tweaking. Most of the time when I edit a tone and select "Save To My Tones" it updates the tone as expected. But sometimes it saves it as a new tone. Am I doing something wrong? It's kind of annoying to edit a tone several times and then when I turn on the amp the next time I want to play I find that I have 5 tones all with the same name (all different revisions of my editing). Thanks, and I appreciate any help the community can provide.
