  1. Here's a really, really cool mod I did to my two Atomic 112-50s. After switching my stock speakers with both an Eminence Red Fang and Wizard, I then had a speaker jack installed between the internal speaker cut switch, and the speaker. What that means is that by having the internal speaker cut set to "off," I can now use the cabinet as a passive cabinet with other amps!! DOUBLE DUTY! If you do this mod, make "sure" to set the cut switch to "off" any time you use this as a passive cabinet... If you don't, you will get power "backwash" going back into he Atomic's transformer. Not a good thing:) Super easy mod, and makes the Atomic even more versatile.
  2. Does anyone out there have a blank template they'd be willing to sell me? Thanks! Please either resond here or email me directly at lion_tone5150@gmail.com.
  3. Generally, it doesn't make sense. But it really depends on the amp. I couldn't do anything with getting a proper mid/higher-gain sound in front of a Fender amp.. Tried for an hour, and no dice. It took me 10-min to get something happening for the Marshall. It was probably just the speaker. The Fender works fine for lower gain TS9 style drive though. I used me setup for a benefit and a casino gig, where FOH sound was unpredictable. Worked great, and felt like a pedalboard.
  4. Use less distortion. Tones thin out when one uses too much gain. I just did two gigs with a HD desktop plugged into a miked Marshall Class 5, and it sounded awesome. I used 2 tube driver models cascaded, one for dirt rhythm, and both for leads. Never muddy, or shrill. So, my answer is proper gain staging:)
  5. Is there any way to blend the speaker/mic emulation with the sound of any given preamp (other than running two models of the same amp, and running one without a cab)?? Ex. 70% with speaker/mic and 30% direct? Are there any plans to include a blender control in a future firmware?
