  1. Hello, Did you get an answer to this question because I have the same problem. I have done an extensive internet search to no avail. So, I shall endeavour to open the unit myself to repair a simple job. If I destroy the unit in the process no problem. I will buy something to replace it from another brand, checking that I can open it if need be. Line 6 do not assist with any hardware problems, instead stating that any repairs need to be carried out by a registered repairer in the country that the person is living. Quite unsatisfactory really. I can and have done repaired other named brands I own. Inbuilt obsolescence. Needless to say I won't be purchasing any other Line 6 gear. Cheers
  2. G'day and thanks for the reply and suggestion. Same thing on another computer - Mixcraft sees the unit but of the 3 choices only asio is greyed out. However, after unplugging the unit several times and restarting mixcraft several times it seems to have righted itself. I am suspecting Windows is the problem. Anyway all good now for the time being. Thanks again. Have a good day. Cheers
  3. H i all, Ok, after laptop died I had a new motherboard installed. Prior to this my sonicport vx worked perfectly. Now, after reinstalling Mixcraft 8 Studio Pro I cannot select ASIO option. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver (1.91) but still have the same problem. I have spent hours on trying everything I could to solve the problem to no avail. I have tried to fill out a ticket at support but I can't remember if I registered the product when I bought and I don't have my purchase info any more or it is buried in my files somewhere it so I can't seem to conclude the support ticket request. Consequently I am very frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Richard
