  1. Hope someone can help! I've recently upgraded my studio gear, i wanted some rack mount equipment, so i bought the POD HD Pro X, i bought an Eleven Rack, and a Rocktron Intellifex LTD, i have reasons for buying these units, and want to use specific settings, the thing is, how do i use them simultaneously, i have the Pod HD Pro X plugged directly into my Aux inputs on my MOTU interface, is there away of plugging all the hardware units into one unit, and then running a that into the Aux inputs on my interface?! Sorry, totally new to all this, so please bare with me! Thank you Kevin
  2. I've read that connecting the pod HD pro x by the above method, is the best way to connect the pod to my Motu interface, the only problem is that I can't find a cable anywhere, anyone any ideas? The closest I can find is this (see pic) at present I'm using the balanced inputs (XLR to Jack)
  3. I've done that, but i don't know how to convert the PXE file
  4. Hey everyone Reletively newb here, i purchased a Pod HD Pro X today, registered it all, downloaded latest drivers / firmware, it all works fine in Cubase using the balanced out option, but how the hell do i download customtones? it keeps saying i have to convert a PXE file, i've never heard of one of these, and my computer doesn't recognize it! HELP! Also, how do i install expansion packs? any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  5. I'm in this same position mate, i've just bought a Pod HD Pro X, i have no idea how to set it up for best results, i used Guitar Rig 5 Pro, which was used as a plug-in in my DAW, i've also created a post on here, but no one is forthcoming as usual, very annoying, as it appears no one wants to help newbies out!
  6. Hey everyone! I'm new to Line 6, and have just ordered a pod HD pro x, I want some advice on the best set up option to get optimal quality when recording, I primarily use Guitar Rig Pro 5 and record in to Cubase 7.5, I use a Motu Track 16 audio interface, as I'm only used to recording guitars with vsti's recording with hardware is a whole new ball game! I've read that recording direct from the pod into the computer (bypassing the audio interface) reduces latency? I also don't understand what S/PDIF is or recording wet and dry etc etc I use wet and dry effects as send and returns with vsti's, can someone please explain to me in laymans terms? I have a great audio interface, but have heard mixed reviews about recording through an external audio interface, and recording direct Look forward to your replies Thank you Kevin
