Thinking about giving amplifi a go but not sure how useable it is live for changing patches with a foot switch. I have an HD500 which I normally use 4 cable method to connect to a blackstar amp. Can I use the HD500 with amplifi to switch patches and turn individual effects on off?? Thanks

Hi I wonder if anyone else experiences the following issue at all or has any ideas to overcome it. Set up HD500 connected via 4CM to Blackstar HD60 I am very happy with the a very simple patch I have for most of my songs as follows Looper > volume> gate> distortion > blackstar preamp > mods>delays> blackstar power amp If I then add a Wah effect next to volume I loose a lot of the quality tone even when it is not on, so I mean I have added the Wah effect into the signal path but it is not engaged. I fully understand that the sound change ps when I kick the Wah in using toe switch but can pt understand why it does it even when not on. As soon as I take Wah out of signal chain overall tone returns. Any ideas?? I was thinking about getting a separate Wah pedal. Thanks

Jandrio I don't plan to use the blackstar for acoustic. Planned signal chains are input 1 POD. Electric guitar connected to blackstar using 4 cable method Input 2 POD aux in then XLR out into desk Hope that works

Thanks guys So answer is yes works Asa DI box but I wonder if that is also while by electric and amp are all connect to the HD via 4 cable method. What I am trying to say is can I instantly change from my electric to acoustic without any unplugging and re plugin in cables? Hope that makes sense

Hi I used HD500 and connect to Blackstar HD60 stage using 4 cable method using electric guitar with no major issues but just about to start a new band project that will introduce more acoustic guitar. my question is can I use the POD as a DI box, if so how please or do I need to get a separate DI box. Guitar is Yamaha APX500. Thanks
